“Heroes” Season 1 (2006-07, NBC), episodes 1-6 – Remote-control voters have already made a winner out of this globe-spanning drama about novice superheroes (and supervillains and massive conspiracies). The best characters are the cheerleader (Hayden Panettiere), who can walk through fire, and the put-upon police detective (Greg Grunberg), who can hear other people’s thoughts.
