‘United 93’ review

“United 93” – Writer-director Paul Greengrass tells the story of the only one of the four hijacked planes on 9/11 to not reach its target, the only way it can be told. He gets the camera up close and personal with the 40 passengers and crew (among them flight attendant Sandra Bradshaw, played by Brainerd native Trish Gates) and the four terrorists, interspersing the plane events with the frustratingly slow response time from air traffic control and military leaders. It’s a raw, gripping lesson in recent history.
