‘Snakes on a Plane’ review

“Snakes on a Plane” – Sure, the hype was out of proportion with the pedigree of this Samuel L. Jackson flick, a throwback to those gleefully silly actioners that used to be more prevalent in Hollywood. Still, in today’s climate, it’s refreshing to see a film that is what it is, and “Snakes” delivers exactly what the title promises. Pretty much the whole second act is packed with shots of hissing and carnage and Samuel L. being his action-star self.
