‘Session 9’ review

“Session 9” — A group of workers goes in to clear asbestos from an abandoned insane asylum. One of the workers becomes obsessed with old tape reels of doctor-patient conversations. You’d think it would be a can’t-miss premise for a horror movie, but there’s only one genuinely creepy scene in the film. Most of the work is done during the daytime, which might make this the first horror movie ever with smart characters. But it’s just not very scary. C-
