“Mystery Men” – In this remarkably dull superhero parody, Captain Amazing is kidnapped and it’s up to the “other guys” to save the day – among them Mr. Furious (Ben Stiller), whose power is to get really, really mad. “Mystery Men” has a solid premise, good actors and impressive visuals, but the writing is pitiful. There are a few mildly funny gags, including a running joke about secret identities, but most of the overlong film is comprised of endless stretches of boredom. D
