‘Me, Myself and Irene’ review

“Me, Myself and Irene”  The Farrelly brothers’ latest film has plenty of their trademark disgusting images, but it’s short on laughs. The film’s saving graces are Jim Carrey (finally back in a comedic role!) as schizophrenic Charlie/Hank and scrunchy-faced Renee Zellweger as his love interest, but no one else in the movie is funny. The only jokes that connect are scenes of Carrey getting “unbelievable cottonmouth” and peeing against a wall. The central plot of Irene being pursued by corrupt cops couldn’t be more bland. B-
