“Face/Off” – Admittedly, the method by which Shawn Archer (John Travolta) and Castor Troy (Nicolas Cage) trade faces is absurd. However, it’s easy to accept this conceit as we get to see the good guy and the bad guy exploring each other’s worlds and the ways people react to the oddities displayed by “Archer” and “Troy.” Directed by John Woo, “Face/Off” is packed with elaborate fight scenes, and Archer’s quest for revenge culminates in an ironically powerful final scene.
